Mission Coaching

Thank you for your interest in being considered for placement with a Coach through THE NEXT MILE!

Our vision through the coaching process is to walk Believers through the process of evaluating their next steps in missions involvement.  By submitting a completed application, you are communicating that God is at work in your life and stirring in your heart a future destination and we look forward to getting to know you and discovering that together. 

"Coaching is all about forward movement and action!  A Coach is a person who facilitates actions that transport people from one place to another, from where they are to a new destination", states Miller & Hall in their book, Coaching for Christian Leaders. 

The Next Mile offers individuals that have served on a short-term mission, at a Christian camp, or studied abroad, the opportunity to be placed with what we have termed a Mission Coach, who will seek to facilitate forward movement specifically in the area of missions and ministry.  The Next Mile Mission Coaches do NOT provide therapy, counseling, consulting, mentoring or training. 

As you review the application we ask that you prayerfully consider if God is leading you to connect with a Mission Coach.  Specifically read the Person Being Coached (PBC) Profile and the Coaching Agreement to help you with your decision.  After review, sign and date the Coach Agreement and complete the remaining application materials.  By completing the enclosed application materials, you will help us get to know you and determine if a Mission Coach placement is right for you.
